Competition rules
Recently infringements of competition rules were revealed in the agri-business sector. Despite its advance in this field, the Soufflet Group has insisted on taking a further step towards ensuring that its teams comply with good practices. A workgroup has therefore been created in April 2012 to define an active competition compliance program. A guidebook has been published; an internal point person has been named in the Group’s legal management team; awareness raising campaigns, trainings and audits will be made systematic from this year onwards.
A strong commitment from management

"As a key player in the food and non-food crop production sector the Soufflet Group commits to answering social and regulatory requirements but also to act in a civic and fair manner. We have always done our best to create and maintain relationships based on solid ethical values both inside and outside the company. In full agreement with the principles of sustainable development, which we have made ours along the years, these shared ethics lead us to continuously and significantly improve our individual and collective performances to the benefit of all our stakeholders. We wish to intensify this approach, bringing it to the heart of all our activities, by giving ourselves the means to measure our efforts: action plans with indicators, rigorous controls and regular monitoring. The annual publication of our sustainable development report will help assess our improvements. Fully aware of our responsibility we stand by our commitments."

Jean-Michel Soufflet
Chairman of the Board
